Application Guidance
Applying to study English at a top UK University can be challenging as there are many considerations to make due to the range of courses available at different institutions. Our afternoon sessions cover all aspects of the application process in detail through group discussions and during one-to-one admissions clinics.
We work directly with individual students to answer any concerns and questions they may have about choosing the course and university that is right for them. Our carefully designed programme then works through every element of an application, from Personal Statements to submitted work through to Cambridge College admissions assessments (if required) and interviews.
Our team has years of experience in helping students access the UK’s top universities, and all our tutors are exclusively from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge. As well as subject expert tutors, we also have Personal Statement and UCAS experts on our team, who have designed a workshop which provides exclusive insider guidance on how to approach an application.

Personal Statement Consultation
The Personal Statement is a vital part of any university application, giving students the chance to show real passion for their subject. Our two-hour package is designed to support this long-term process from planning to final polish.
During the Summer Course, students have an initial consultation with a subject specialist to create a clear plan for developing their Personal Statement.
After the Summer Course, they meet with a Personal Statements expert to refine tone and flow and make final improvements ahead of the UCAS deadline.
Admissions Test Paper Package
Two-Mock Interview Package
Mock Interviews are conducted by subject specialist tutors with Oxford and Cambridge interview experience and last 45 minutes: 30 minutes for the interview, followed by 15 minutes of verbal feedback. Students also receive a detailed written report assessing interview content, critical thinking and analysis, interview style, and outlining clear next steps for improvement.
