Application Guidance
Making an application to study Medicine can be daunting, however, our expert tutors have designed a programme to demystify the process and explain exactly what an Admissions Tutor is looking for.
Our staff have years of experience in helping students access the UK’s top Medical Schools and are all exclusively from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge. As well as our subject specialist tutors, we also have Personal Statement and UCAS experts on our team, who will run a workshop with students to give insider guidance on how best to approach an application.
We cover all aspects of the application process in detail, through a range of interactive seminars and discussions. We consider the pre-application preparation required, from writing a Personal Statement to making the right choice when it comes to colleges and universities. Students will also spend time learning about how to approach the Admissions Test (UCAT), and how to prepare to succeed in the interviews.

Add-ons
Included in our course fees are a range of sessions designed to help students prepare for their application to study Medicine at a top UK University. Students who are applying this year may opt for additional personalised specialist support. These optional extras would begin during the Summer Course week and continue afterwards, to help students prepare for their upcoming application.

Personal Statement Consultation
The Personal Statement is a vital part of any university application, giving students the chance to show real passion for their subject. Our two-hour package is designed to support this long-term process from planning to final polish.
During the Summer Course, students have an initial consultation with a subject specialist to create a clear plan for developing their Personal Statement.
After the Summer Course, they meet with a Personal Statements expert to refine tone and flow and make final improvements ahead of the UCAS deadline.
Admissions Test Paper Package
We offer a bespoke University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) Paper Package, available at a reduced rate when purchased with a Summer Course. It closely replicates the real test, with an authentic-style paper, a Pearson VUE–style online portal, answer key, full worked solutions, and a question-by-question video walkthrough by the test setter. These entirely original papers are unavailable elsewhere, giving students a true Admissions Test experience.
Two-Mock Interview Package
Students can also add a Mock Interview Package to their Summer Course. A baseline interview during the Summer Course helps students identify strengths and areas for development, which they can work on throughout the autumn. A follow-up interview closer to the real interview date then gives them the chance to apply this feedback, build confidence, and refine their performance.
Mock Interviews are conducted by subject specialist tutors with Oxford and Cambridge interview experience and last 45 minutes: 30 minutes for the interview, followed by 15 minutes of verbal feedback. Students also receive a detailed written report assessing interview content, critical thinking and analysis, interview style, and outlining clear next steps for improvement.
