PHILOSOPHY
Why Study Philosophy With Us?
Our Philosophy course has been designed by our expert tutors and gives students the opportunity to explore the big questions that remain unsolved by science. We will consider some of the fundamental questions that have been asked by humankind for centuries using rational inquiry and argument.
In small group seminars, students will enhance their problem-solving capacities through analysing concepts and definitions of complex arguments across a range of contexts. Students will be empowered to debate with our academics in their one-to-one tutorials and develop confidence in communicating their ideas and analysis through our group presentations.

Application Guidance
We understand that applying to study Philosophy at a world leading university can appear daunting, and so we have designed a programme that will de-mystify the process for students and help to build their confidence.
Our group sessions cover every element of the process, from pre-application considerations such as Personal Statements and submitted work, through to the post-application requirements, including interviews. We work directly with individual students to answer any concerns and questions they may have about their application and every student attends a one-to-one application session with one of our Admissions experts.
Our team has years of experience in helping students access the UK’s top universities, and are all exclusively from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. As well as our subject specialist tutors, we also have Personal Statement and UCAS experts on our team, who have designed a workshop which provides exclusive insider guidance on how to approach an application.
What is included?
10+ hours of live Philosophy sessions, led by our expert tutors
5+ additional hours of live interactive teaching
20+ hours of directed learning throughout the week

Personal Statement Consultation
The Personal Statement is a vital part of any university application, giving students the chance to show real passion for their subject. Our two-hour package is designed to support this long-term process from planning to final polish.
During the Summer Course, students have an initial consultation with a subject specialist to create a clear plan for developing their Personal Statement.
After the Summer Course, they meet with a Personal Statements expert to refine tone and flow and make final improvements ahead of the UCAS deadline.
Admissions Test Paper Package
Two-Mock Interview Package
Mock Interviews are conducted by subject specialist tutors with Oxford and Cambridge interview experience and last 45 minutes: 30 minutes for the interview, followed by 15 minutes of verbal feedback. Students also receive a detailed written report assessing interview content, critical thinking and analysis, interview style, and outlining clear next steps for improvement.
