Why Study History With Us?

Our programme has been designed to ignite the curiosity of an aspiring historian and discover periods and phenomena far beyond the school curriculum. Our course looks at a wide range of topics; students will consider global history, from political movements to failing states, as well as delving into social history and considering the role of the individual when learning about the past.

All lessons are taught through small group seminars and students have the opportunity to explore their favourite topics in their one-to-one tutorials. Our group project will hone their analytical and critical thinking skills whilst also developing confidence in defending their ideas to an academic.

Application Guidance

We understand that applying to study History can be daunting, and so we have designed a programme to clarify the process and help students understand what an Admissions Tutor is looking for.

We cover all aspects of the application process in detail through group discussions and during one-to-one admissions sessions. We work directly with individual students to answer any concerns and questions they may have regarding pre-application preparation, from Personal Statements to submitted work. Later in the week, we spend time considering the post-application requirements, such as Cambridge College admissions assessments (HAA, if required) and interviews.

Our team has years of experience helping students access the UK’s top universities, and are all exclusively from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge. As well as subject expert tutors, we also have Personal Statement and UCAS experts on our team, who have designed a workshop which provides exclusive insider guidance on how to approach an application.
